Over the last 24 hours, Hollywood studios have been dropping a host of insane new movie trailers. Just like every year, San Diego is hosting the Comic-Con International 2016 and as has been tradition, studios like Marvel, DC, Warner Brothers and others have released (some officially this time) trailers of their upcoming films.
As a huge film and movie enthusiast, I’ve watched every single one of these big trailers to have come out in the last 24 hours and each one looks absolutely spectacular. Here’s a long list of Comic-Con Trailers released today, and every single one of them is really, really good. I’m so pumped!
Doctor Strange [Marvel Studios]
Starring: Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelson & Tilda Swinton.
I’m way more of a Marvel fanboy than a DC one, and needless to say, this looks phenomenally good. The cinematography and visuals are breathtaking and Benedict Cumberbatch pulls off a Doctor Strange, dare I say, marvelously. Even the Inception-style city-bending visuals look great.
I’m stoked!

Wonder Woman [DC / Warner Bros.]
Starring: Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Collie Nielsen.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was terrible. The Ultimate Edition of the film that was released a few weeks ago added some context to the film, but it still didn’t fix much of what was wrong with the film to begin with. Gal Gadot’s scene in the film as Wonder Woman was the only highlight for me, and this Wonder Woman film looks like a whole lot of goodness. I love the visuals and the slightly extended color palette DC seems to be using for this one. I’m not just excited for the film, but the soundtrack as well.
Hype Level: ★★★★★
Justice League [DC / Warner Bros.]
Starring: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, etc.
Please don’t fuck this up, DC. (That’s all I have to say, seriously.)
Hype Level: ★★★★★
Kong: Skull Island [Warner Bros]
Starring: Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John Goodman, John C. Reilly.
Oh! My! God! Can we please get more monster movies that look this good?
Kong: Skull Island is the second film in the **Godzilla-Kong* film series, and follows the Godzilla movie from 2014. There’s also a Godzilla 2 coming in 2019, with these three movies setting up a ‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ film in 2020.
Hype Level: ★★★★★
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them [Warner Bros.]
Starring: Eddie Redmayne, Colin Farell, Ezra Miller.
I haven’t been a fan of the Harry Potter film franchise, but I do like the visuals of this one, so I’ll probably end up watching this.
Hype Level: ★★★★☆
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword [Warner Bros.]
Starring: Charlie Hunnam, Jude Law, Djimon Hounsou, Eric Bana, Aidan Gillen, etc.
This looks like the quintessential Guy Ritchie flick.
Hype Level: ★★★☆☆
The LEGO Batman Movie [Warner Bros]
Voice Cast: Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, Ralph Fiennes, Mariah Carey.
Hype Level: ★★☆☆☆
