Post Peek: An Extension for Peeking at Twitter (X) Posts

Inspired by LitterBox, Post Peek is a lovely little browser extension for Chrome and related browsers that lets you “peek” at any Twitter (X) posts linked from other websites. Any Twitter link shows with a tiny blue dot, and clicking on them just loads up a small window with a preview of the tweet. You can, if you want to, click on the open button to view the post on the Twitter website directly, but with this extension, you get to view it right there, with your privacy protected (no cookies sent).

Feed Rango for Feed Wrangler

We’re just a day away from Google permanently shutting down Google Reader. A lot of RSS services have sprung up over the last few weeks and one of the most popular services has been David Smith’s Feed Wrangler. It’s a fantastic service, especially its Smart Streams and Filter features. Shawn Blanc has a great write-up about those.

I wrote this simple browser extension (Chrome and Safari) that improves on the UI of the web app. Check it out and if you like it, download it.
