The iPhone is set to be released here in India at midnight on October 17th and the stores (Apple Premium Resellers) have already taken over 100 pre-orders each. I opted for a Space Gray, 64GB iPhone 6 this year that will replace by Silver 16GB iPhone 5 and I’m hoping to pick it up at midnight, right after the Apple Event scheduled on Oct. 16th.

iPhone 6 Pre-Orders in China Top 20 Million

[…] China’s three biggest carriers including China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom have processed over 10 million of those pre-orders, while JD.com states that it has received 9.5 million pre-orders for both devices. JD.com specifies that 4.7 million pre-orders are for the iPhone 6, while 4.8 million pre-orders are for the iPhone 6 Plus. The figures also do not include pre-orders accepted by Apple or its over 6,000 resellers in the country.

Doomed.

Apple’s Next Event Set for Oct. 16

“It’s been way too long.”

I am really hoping we see some big updates to the Mac lineup. It feels like the Mac mini hasn’t been updated in forever and that the Retina iMac has been “coming soon” for years now.

NORWAY — A Time-Lapse Adventure

This is a time-lapse video resulting from a 15,000 km (almost 10,000 miles) long road trip and tens of thousands of images taken along the way over the last 5 months. The journey has covered all of Norway’s 19 counties, from the far south to the Russian border in the Northeast.
The aim of this 5 minute short film is to show the variety of Norway, everything from the deep fjords in the Southwest, to the moon landscape in the North, the Aurora Borealis (Nothern Lights) and the settlements and cities around the country, both in summer and wintertime. The video shows some of the most scenic places in Norway, such as Lofoten, Senja, Helgelandskysten, Geirangerfjorden, Nærøyfjorden and Preikestolen.

Incredible footage. Make sure you watch it in at least 1080p.
